The inspiration behind Greentown Liuxiangyuan's design is the concept of light as an architectural element. The designer aimed to create a balance between architectural aesthetics and functionality, using light to create a more emotionally engaging space. The design also incorporates natural materials, contributing to the overall artistic conception of the space.

What sets this design apart is its break from traditional commercial space design. The designer has divided the area using marble and wooden separating frames, creating a semi-transparent folding screen that adds an element of exploration to the space. This innovative approach to space division is a departure from the marketing-heavy commercial spaces that have become the norm.

The design was realized using a combination of stone, plants, woods, and indigenous materials. The designer has created a unique blend of these different materials, transforming them into perceivable entities that encapsulate the essence of a good life.

The project, which covers a total of 1000 square meters, was started in April 2020 in Yantai and completed in September of the same year. The design team, led by Chief Designer Jin Yin, faced several challenges during the project, including avoiding the congestion feeling that can be caused by excessive stacking in the sand table area. However, they were able to overcome these challenges and create a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The end result is a space that is modern, natural, and elegant. The use of unified materials and colors creates a sense of depth and possibility, while the inclusion of plant bonsai in the negotiation area adds a touch of nature and vitality. The design has been praised for its ability to balance the needs of the building's structure and layout with aesthetic requirements, creating a bright, inviting space that is a testament to the power of innovative design.
